200mph cluster for the s600
It's always been a pet never of mine. I hate it when a car can go faster than the cluster can read. This was especially annoying with my 92 nissan 240sx. Cluster reads to 110mph but the car can do 180+ so after 110mph I gotta do a bunch of math to figure out how fast I'm going. Redline in 4th the car was doing 150. I'm finding the same problem with my s600. The car can do 203mph but speedo tops out at 160.
Here's my question, would it be easier to code a s55 cluster which displays 200mph or would it be easier to buy the 220mph cluster face and put that into my existing cluster?
Honestly I don't like either of them because they clump all the numbers after 100mph together.
There's a third option, I buy a European cluster and set the kph to mph. I did it once by accident. My needs was pointing at the kph but reading it as mph. So if I was doing 40mph the needs was pointing at 40kph (the small numbers on the speedo) I reverted it back to normal and now I forgot how to do it. The euro speedo goes up to 260 but it looks cleaner since all the numbers are evenly spaced. If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know

I asked both sellers on ebay and have yet to get a reply. I really want to do the kph trick but I can't remember what I did and autel decided to change some of the menu options. I don't know if I changed the country for the coding and then selected mph or if I did something else
That's some great info. So I just need to get a kph cluster and set it to mph and it'll be a 260mph speedometer. i womder if that works on all the kph clusters or if it only works on certain countries like Canada for instance
