Also - my module has the number A0285458132 on it.
from researching It seems I can use any of the Rear SAM numbers A0205451932, A0315451632, A0325458432?
...and i tested it this weekend. and it works
looks harder than it is to re wire it just one strand at a time
my car does not die overnight anymore. mine was dry

w220 is where you landed so 1998-2005
anyway, the part number is clear to see even without removing the module fully. same procedure for any model though.... locate the right module, take a picture, post here if needed, parts are plentiful these are not rare birds at all . if you have a GL that forum will have to help you, maybe its a common issue maybe not right. dont let it stress either. this most likely will be more difficult to work on a GL than an old S, no reason you cant figure it out these days with AI, free diagnosis from shops or dealer, forum posts, insta ect....... if you really cant drive whatever benz you have, there are many ways the forum can help you track down whats up, assuming you have a spare car in the meantime (hopefully another half working benz)
there are other "intermittent start" situations but this was just a draining battery from a bad sam until it was jumped ect
