I just got a 2002 S55 AMG and it has a few issues i was looking to see if i could get help with.

1. The instrument cluster doesn’t have backlight but the gauges still work and lights still show up in accesory but I am not able to read messages and AMG logo doesn’t light up

2. The locks, trunk, etc dont work and I checked fuse box assuming it was the PSE pump fuse and it had a 30a in the 20a spot so i replaced w a 20a and it blew right away

if anyone knows anything it would help please just wanting to know if its a fuse or if i need a new cluster and electrical workplease and thanks

Two separate problems the cluster needs repair there are guys in eBay that do it search w220 cluster repair

the pse system has a short in it to pop the 20 amp fuse instantly , you’ll need to trace where the short is located
