2014 e350 to 2005 or 2006 model?

2014 e350 to 2005 or 2006 model?
I have a nice 2014 e350 with the AMG "look" package. Love the car but have always wanted a w220, and considering the change. The car will be a road trip car for the family. Looking at lower mileage cars (05 and 06, 430 or 500 models) with good service history. Have a good Indy and use forums for guidance. Am I crazy, should I just keep the 350? Thank you for reading this.

Was able to acquire a clean 06 sport model, the newer e350 and older s500 couldn't be more different. It was expected. But man the s500 sure is eye candy. Coming up with a game plan for this car and thankful for these forums.

It's expected but the 500 feels like a boat compared to the 350. The doors have a more solid closing on the 350, the handling is way more nimble, the interior tech and material quality is far ahead. The V6 is peppy and efficient. This model is under the radar IMO if someone is looking for a good used car.
I think the 220 has aged well, always wanted one, and prefer the looks over the 221 and didn't want an even more complicated car.
