ABC line failure
Well after 22 years I finally had the dreaded ABC main line failure under the engine. $3300 later she is perfect. Why in the world Mercedes would put this line in an in accessible spot is beyond me, but alas I was VERY lucky for many years.

OP any shop that builds hydraulic lines can make them up for you. Take a line from the car and they will make it up using better materials than were available when your car was new.

It’s too late he already had it done.
For other people, and the future,All you need to do is remove the ends of the existing line, then have a hydraulic or forklift repair shop make up a new hose using the existing ends of the hose.it usually cost about $100. And you don’t have to reroute it under the engine.
you can leave the existing hose with its cut off ends sitting where it is.
