Gear knob removal
How do u remove the knob from a 2001 s500. i am llooking to install a wood pieces.

also recommendations of retailers who sell them please

The bottom of the shift knob (The chrome part) turns. Turn it counter clock wise to unlock and then pull the knob stright up and off.
