My S500 has miles on the speedometer, is there a way to change it to kilometers, I was able to put Kms on the digital speedometer but not on the big similated screen.

I looked in the BIG manual and did not find anything about this.

Also, under and inside the center console ther is a round thing that you turn o and I, what is this for? Air conditioning maybe? There is nothing on the manual about this.

If you are talking about the new W221 2006-7 S-Class, you have apparently found the hidden supercharger control switch. If you have a W220 model, then you have found the air cond control switch for air flow in the center console.

I was wondering if you found the setting for Miles to Kilometers, I am having the same difficulty.

The O and I are for controlling the temp in the large console storage area. You can feel the air flow from the vent when you change the setting.

For the kh view, use the dash control and go to Settings or Vehicle (can't remember what it is) but it is the last adjustment. It will say New Speedometer or something like that...click OK and it will change to kh...I have never used it so I don't know what changes on the dash display.
