seems like some of the prices have been released, car will be introduced at 85,400 premium 1 package will be 1250, premium 2 will be 2850, did not see any release price for the premium 3 or other options

By my calculations the current base price for the S500 is $86,050 (excluding destination).
That translates to a decrease of $650.
Minimal, but still.....

You are correct. The price went down. However, the 221 includes the phone kit with voice activation and the 6CD changer standard. These were nearly $2000 on the S500. therefore, the price delta is closer to 3k when factoring in the equipment.
