Partially of topic .. Partially on!
Kind of an all over post here .. a friend of mine recently picked up his Z06 and let me test drive it .. wow .. it's a fast car and verrry torqie (made that word up) .. the only compliant is that the steering can feel a bit 'twitchy' and doesn't quite inspire the solid feel I'd be more comfortable with .. but that is being kind of nit picky even by my standards.
I post here because this same friend has an S550 on order (damn I'm jealous). We stopped by the dealership and took a look at the one they recently got in .. the *** IS big and the I drive/style control and column mounted console makes me nervous but the car is quite nice .. he got the 20' AMG rims and they look much better than the 19's (very subtle differences) .. can't wait until he actually has it and I can come on here and give an opinion!
Lastly, because I have come to enjoy the posts of so many here and realize the wealth of experience (automotive and business ..) I am asking a question .. I'm starting a business and am looking for an investor(s) and want to know if anyone here can point me in a right direction. I've talked to VC's out here (west coast, near silicon valley) and the problem I have is they're totally high tech centric .. my business is not high tech, it just makes $$.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not really looking for an investor here, more a direction or resource.
To put it back on topic (haha) .. I figure I will continue to drive my good old S500 until my company is up and running when I will move to the new S65! By then I hope the flares and other details will have 'grown' on me enough to overlook them.
