I was wondering how high insurance premiums would be for this car in NY,NY. I called ALLSTATE and they need a vin to go by...one sample VIN I obtained was WDDNG71X77A014106...does anyone one know if this VIN accurrately describes a W221?

Insurance is based mostly on real world loss statistics. Because it's a new model, they'll most likely change drastically when your premium gets renewed in six months. I'd have them just pull a quote for an '06 S500 -- it'll probably be a more accurate reflection.

That is definately a real vin because the car is at Glauser and being sold on eBay right now.
