New $140k S600

Just saw the info on the new S600. At over $140k it seems pretty pricey. Anyone have one on order? Here is the link below.

I can not wait to see that vehicle in person. I believe that it will be the replacement for my '04 S500.

S600 pricing

Yes, the pricing in the US is 139.900 with all options included as standard. Only 19" wheels are available as options. ALso, the AMG ackage will not be available on the S600.

How is 4 more cylinders worth almost $50G?

I'd love to have it, but i just don't see it. 760Li is not quite that much, but certainly almost that much more than 750Li...used to be that the 12'ers were $15-20 more; again, i just can't see it.

I am also having trouble justifying this as a replacement for my 02 S600. I absolutely love my car, but there is such a premium placed on the new one. If I can wait a couple of years more, and the price drops as it usually does, then I might. Or, I might be frugal (unlikely) and get an S550.

2004 S500
Damn...I can't wait!! That's a such a good deal...I can't see how anyone in their right mind could not justify going down to their local dealer and ordering one of those right now! You might not be able to get it for 4 or 5 months but...hey...it's worth it...I mean my God...how can anyone live without one of those at such a bargain price?
