Here's a few Updated Pics

I got the fenders rolled, calipers painted, and TPS installed a week ago and I think I'm going to pick up some smoked side markers also. Unfortunately the weather on the East-Coast has been crazy, so needless to say I haven't been able to readjust my lowering links yet. Once I get some good weather, I'll readjust the height and post some more pics.

I used lowering links from Adjustable Air Ride. The wheels I have on in my sig and avatar are a bit more aggressive, now with my new wheels I definitely drop the front a little lower.

The ride quality is comparable to the factory set height, since it's not slammed. Because of the modest height adjustment, I don't have any issues with wheel alignment or anything else. I did install the links myself, it takes about 45 minutes to an hour (if that long) to install. If you purchase some, John send you some pretty detailed easy to follow directions. Very cost effective way to go.

Hey Emin,

I think you can verify what options you have on your vehicle by supplying you Vin to the MB dealership and they can pull your information up. Or post a thread on the board and ask the guys and I'm sure someone who has ABC or experience with it will tell you.

T,

How did they do with rolling the fenders? No paint cracking or anything like that? Pretty easy? I haven't done that on mine yet, but need to - the wheels crab on to the fenders in some places, front and back.

Thanks, Rudy - can't wait to see yours after the 2010 upgrade... Didn't get a chance to go by Kartoyz this week.

Hey Serge,

Luckily my rear tires just barely rubbed down towards the bottom of the fender so they rolled them only slightly and trimmed a little bit of the lip off. So it wasn't a full roll, but checkout the link below. This is the process, honestly I could have did it myself.

Hey Serge,

So you removed your side markers and filled in the space? It looks flawless.

Thank you, the wheels are real cheap Gianelles that we diamond the faces on and had them powdercoated...

Are you local? Maybe we can roll the fenders ourselves, I have a heatgun - some instructions say to get the paint to 125-140 F... I'll could try to pick up a laser pointer thermometer on eBay or something.

For the chip, if you can get it touched up and not paint the panel - would be best. Since last October I think all the local shops went to water-based paints, which aren't as good - plus your stock clear coat is really nice and strong (nanoclear). There are some guys in San Jose that do nice touch up - multiple coats of touch up, then wetsanding and then either put automotive clear into the chipped area or one guy I heard uses crazy glue and it looks pretty good after wetsanding and buffing.

Try giving this place a call and see if they can help you with the touch up, they are on Bascom:

Yep - I had the front bumper repainted after buying the car at the Highline last year, and I had them mold the side marker openings. I felt that the side markers look like an afterthought for the American market - big and bulky... Plus there aren't any other yellow reflector surfaces on the car at all - it's all either white or red, so it didn't match...

I think the only time you can pull of tinted is if your wheels are black. Otherwise white would look better, in my opinion. Post some pics of your car.
