Chrome Mirror Cover Installation
Bought this Mirrors Cover. I though was simple installation, but I dont see screws... Anyone install one before? Any help will be appreciate, otherwise let MB rip me off again

I've never worked on the 221 but my 220, I had to replace the rubber seals of which I had to remove the entire assembly. To do that I had to first remove the housing with a flat head screw driver following the earlier post in the 220 forum on updating to LED's. Once the housing is removed you have to fold in the mirror to expose 3 screws the hold the mirror assembly to the door. I used a T20 screw driver to get them out and that removes the whole assembly. Remember, thats a W220. It may be the same with your and it may not.

I don't think I would go for the chrome mirror covers, but you are the owner of this beauty and yours to enjoy. I absolutely may have to look into those rims...

Sorry to say but the chrome mirros make the car look like a Chrysler 300c and i dont think you want people to think you got an idea off of chrysler by paing over 90 g's for that car. But anyway NICE CAR! One of the best out there.

You paid $100K for a Mercedes Benz Limited Edition model, of which only 1000 will be produced. It has an exclusive interior and the exterior (Graphite I think) is only available on this model. Why do you feel you have to modify something that is already "exclusive." Your car is one of only 1000...modify it and it becomes another modified S550 and loses what you paid extra to obtain.
Just my feelings on the subject...ymmv

I think is the color of the car. It properly better with White Color... Maybe I change back later. Somehow I miss the elegance of mine car. Items goes for sell at Ebay soon... Thanks for the truth opinion.
