Saw my first S550 today
Took these pics this AM.
For some strange reason it seemed to be a little smaller than my S500 even though the numbers say otherwise. Much better looking than the 750 BMW. I think MB hit the bulls eye with this one.

Yeah it does seem smaller, same way the W211 E looks smaller than the previous W210 E-Class when they're roughly the same size. That is great engineering by design IMO.

You know, the white just looks absolutely spectacular to me on this car(!).
The two potential styling dislikes (I say potential because I, like all of us, probably just need to get used to the changes -- and will): the wheel arches and the solid, body-colored bands across the tailights, look desirable and appropriate on this car in this color..... Damn!
