Trust me, Jan and Doc, you will NOT be dissapointed with this one.

Here are my lenses (taken with the 50mm, f/1.8 MKII)...quality camera for quality car...

Great Selection!
I have the 17-85 and the 70-300. I have another 20D that I use at the office with a 100mm Macro and MR-14 ring flash for intraoral photography. (I'm a dentist, if you didn't figure that out!!!)
It's a great Camera. Did you see they have a 30D now! May have to upgrade!

BTW..where are you located in NJ. I grew up there in Bloomfield and Essex County.

still waiting for my 135 f/2L. Can you believe the price of the new 85mm MKII?

I really have not looked at the 85mm MkII...I have about what I need. They are EF-S (except for the 70-300mm) but they serve my purpose fine.

But with this off-topic, I can strike back! ;-)
You got the quality cars (Ok, in June it's time for a E280CDI for me - not soo bad either) but I got the quality lenses (maybe you cannot have both with these prices ;-):
Both together weight more than 1kg but the quality is...extraordinary... and will become even more obvious with all the new high-resolution digicams.
When you have the money (Hey, I'm in the W221-forum :-) and love photography and want to get highest quality with the small 35mm (or comparable digital) format there's nothing better than these little optical/mechanical masterpieces!

OK, just kidding.
I saw a black S550 at Phoenix Motor Company today. Unfortunately, I was rather unimpressed. The interior was nice, but I expected more. The exterior was okay, but I think the stock wheels were a drag on it. It didn't look good to me. I'm a bit underwhelmed by it...I don't understand why either. Maybe the paint and blasse wheel combo.

I have only seen two interiors so far...the Black and the Grey/Dark Grey. The Black seemed to lessen the impact of the interior more than the Grey combination. No contrast and without the wood wheel it lost something. The Grey combination however seemed to bring the interior alive and show off the wood accents more.
I have gone back and forth on the wheels and ended up with the standard 9 spoke. The multi-contour wheels did not impress me and I thought about the chrome 5 spoke but they are not available. The AMG's look much better and the LE's are the best I think.
