Hello all,

Does anyone know how to just spell out a Point of interest instead of going through a category? I was trying to find a church earlier today and I couldn't find a category that fits under it. Anyone know how to straight spell out a POI from the get go?

I realized that the navigation in the S550 is not there yet.

Today I wanted to goto a Sports Chalet, so I looked in POI. I could not even find a proper category that stores fit under. If I want to find Circuit City, where do I go? I cannot even spell a POI from the getgo without entering a category. Stock navigations really lack in convenience and intelligence.

Does anyone know what categories Bestbuy, Circuit City, ect belong in? THe only solution right now is calling Tele Aid for guide and have them upload the navigation coordinates into command. (which i thought was AWESOME!)

I just hit the information button on the car and ask for route assistance and have them download the route to the nearest Best Buy to the car. Quite nice. Would it be better If I could just search for it from the NAV? YES!! But heck, it can't do everything.

Here is what I noticed.. if you click on NAV - MAP DISPLAY - you will see that there's a section called "Stores" however, that is not available in the POI categories. I really wonder why. Perhaps MB wanted people to subscribe to TELE-AID packages but I totally agree.. its when they upload the directions to your navigation.

I didn't know about that map display -> stores function. I will check it out when I get home tonight.
