the clock

How do you change time on the clock in this car?
I recall reading a post in W220 section (I think) which stated that time automatically adjusts with DST, but mine is still an hour behind since it started.

Under COMAND, go into Vehicle, then System settings. Set whether DST is applicable or not, then set the time. Like magic, the analog clock's hands will spin.

Thank goodness you can set your own clock in the W221.

One of the MOST annoying "features" of my SL is that the time is synchronized to the GPS and cannot be changed! My wife and I like to set the time a couple of minute ahead in our cars because I'm a chronic procrastinator, but we can't do that in the SL!! It can only be changed in 30 minute increments with that silly GPS synchronization.

Definitely a case of over-engineering winning over common sense IMHO.

My E-Class allows me to choose whether to have the clock linked to the GPS or not. When it's linked to GPS it jumps in 30 minute increments, but when it is not linked, it jumps in 1 minute increments.

Yes, true, it's the same on my SL500. But once I set it using 1 minute increments, once it begins receiving the GPS satellite data again, it resets itself again using the UTC data from the GPS system.

Can one of the W221 owners check on their Comand system and manual if the system allows minute-by-minute time adjustments even when the GPS is receiving UTC data from the satellites? If not, it's a most annoying feature!

Thanks.
I was able to change time by going into COMAND.
