Possible S-Class Convertible

There are reports that there is a S-Class convertible set to debut...I have my doubts. I don't think it would go over all that well, but maybe we'll see.

word. i'd prefer MB putting the metaphorical shine back on the star (i.e. fix the quality issues) rather than making 106 variants of each model

I think they are well on the way in fixing the quality issues if the new S Class is an example. I think the ML, R and GL will also show that.

On the issue of a "4 door S Class convertible" I don't think we will ever see one. Maybe some concept car to stir the competition but no way ever in production. They may show a CL in a convertible form but that is also doubtful. Just my thoughts...

This will be the best thing they could do if they could pull it off! I heard they might do that with a Maybach coupe, but a more affordable S-class? Yessss! Put me on the order list. Mercedes does not have a factory upscale 4-door cabrio and needs one badly!
