Hi New Yorkers (and anyone else that reads this)
Has anyone had any work done by Audio Design NYC. Their Web Address is http://www.audiodesignnyc.com/
I am thinking about having my Valentine Installed and get a K40 Lasor Diffuser. All work will be for $1500.
Please let me know your thoughts as I have to do this quick.

Just spoke with Technik. its $1800 for the Radar installation PLUS $1250 for the lazor diffuser.... thats $3000............... Audio Designs will do this for $1500 ! 50% Less..... Now - I know i want quality - and both obviously say they are the best in the business..... what do i do? Go see both shops? Ask to speak to their customers? $1500 less is $1500 that I can spend on other things.... I dont want to throw away money - but i also dont want poor quality... someone with any thoughts???

Honestly I can not stick my neck out for Audio Designs but I can honestly tell you that Gus will do a perfect job for you. Also make sure your comparing apples to apples. Is Gus using K40 or Lidatek? Where will your V1 be mounted? Will the car retain ALL stock functions? Is that laser front and rear for $1500? License plate mounts or custom mounted?
Ask around or visit the shops. I can tell you that Technik does all the vehicles for Manhatta Motorcars -- highline is their speciality. Is $1500 worth a possible headache later on? You decide!

Truth is - i cant stand the damn wire hanging down. Thats the god honest truth.
Now - not to sound snobbish - but because my father is the accountant to many nyc police, high ranked and not... i have badges and cards with badge #s and phone #s. It all but eliminates my risk. I have been stopped doing 95mph in a 50mph at 2am... no one on the road but me... and of course that cop in the bushes. After showing the cards and badge, he let me pass. On other occasions, they call the cop (the cell # is on the card in their handwriting) and they laugh and say to let me go because im a good boy. hehe
But yea... i dont even need a radar detector to begin with - i just think its better to slow down if u have them on screen...
