What wonderful pics! Gosh that must be some decision to make. As Jack says the setting is perfect as are the cars. I just love these pics:

I just have to have one!

Wink MB S and SL cars

Yes and NO.... I had a SL420(?) in 1987 and I could of had my Father's S500 after he passed away but I wouldn't have felt right driving his car.

I bought the S550 before (I sold the Lambos ) and enjoyed it so much I decided to buy the S550. I had a E420 in 1991(?) and really liked it but then I switched to BMWs because I thought they were little more 'sporty' than Mercedes. I think Mercedes has changed their image a little over the years and this is why I bought these two. Magwheel

Thanks for the reply, I was wondering becuase when you said in the other post 'They're just such a pleasure to drive' I was wonderin if you meant the S and SL from the last as, or the S and SL as your first (or first in a long time) MB. I agree with the image change of MB, on the A8 W12 post I made the point that I thought in the past the BMW was more sporty and the MB was more luxury. Now it seems they have BOTH, how can you beat that?

Magwheel,

I am glad you have had an opportunity to truly enjoy them. Fall is a wonderful time to cruise in the SL

It looks like you have the stone interior in the SL. We do as well but the only issue is that it attracts dirt like a magnet

AsianML..... It really doesn't look that big in person or when the Cayenne is parked behind it. It does seem big when you're inside though! Mags
