Can anyone play DVD Video in their cars from the factory system??? Is there a hack to do this??? As I understand the Euros have DVD-Video & TV???

The US COMAND does not support DVD Video nor does it support TV. It will play DVD Audio disks only. The EU COMAND is a different animal...someone here can explain the details. As far as "hacks" go the only way I know it can be done is to replace the US COMAND with the EU unit and then there may be further mods required?

there are modules out there that will emulate a camera signal to feed video to the front screen. I have intalled one in a 221 S65 recently. I would not suggest it. The customer purchased the item from NAVTV I think. THe seats have problems now as NAVTV stated they would. YOu have to add several relays if you have a factory camera system in the car as well.
