driving home in my new s-class the other day, about a 10 mile stretch that doesn't have much traffic, just kinda chillin and listening to the best of the 80's on the sat radio, glance down at the speedometer, damn...108 mph, smooth as a glass lake, quiet as could be, when i slowed to the actual speed limit, 65mph, it felt as tho i was going 35, these new s-classes, are truly the best so far, no problems from what i hear anywhere in the line.You just gotta love those multi-contour seats, makes you feel as tho you are in a f16 fighter jet.... awsome..!.

The biggest problem is the speedo for me.

The position that *was* 50-60ish on the ML is now 70-80 on the AMG.

Combined with the smooth ride...I find my self speeding all the time without realising.

I heard no problems from an MB mechanic i met....he said the only thing was that the earlier S550's had a slight tranny shifting issue. That is it.
