4Matic LE?
Has anyone seen the 4Matic Launch Ed yet and confirmed its contents? What've they done with the interior?
Also, has anyone seen a 4Matic w/ AMG Sport? I'm wondering what tires they use, since some have said here that they can't used the staggered wheels.

I see a new 4matic almost every day at my sons school. I don't think it had the AMG package though. Is the LE different or is this the LE?

The 4matic LE I saw at the local dealership was graphite with a very attractive light beige and black (or almost black) interior. Beige seats and dark dash/sills. Sorry I don't remember what the interior was called.

The Launch Edition was supposed to a special-edition, monospec version of the S550 4Matic with Designo paint and unique wheels. If they followed form, they only built 1000. I've never seen pics of one, or seen a window sticker to confirm its contents.

I saw a 4Matic Launch Edition yesterday. I parked next to it at Neimans in the Short Hills Mall. I took a pic on my phone, I'm at work now but I'll post it when I get home. It was a beautiful car--Graphite paint with the two-tone interior. No special wheels though. It got normal S550 wheels. The S550 non-4Matic Launch Edition was done in the same colors but it had a matte oak wood and special double spoke wheels. The 4M launch has normal glossy wood interior, which looks so much better in my opinion.

It does look very classy, but my favorite the Designo Mystic White. I've always loved black lacquered wood on anything, but in a car...WOW.

If I could have ordered that interior color I definitely would have. I did notice you can get some better colors in the e-class.
My favorite is actually the Mystic White Designo also. I just couldn't get myself to drop the $11k extra. Maybe on my next one.

Oh cool, I met Shariff at some event when the GL came out, he seemed like a nice guy. Nice cars you have had! I love the 220 S-Classes, and I just finally warmed up to the 221. When I saw the 4Matic LE at Short Hills the other day I knew that I had finally fallen in love with the 221.

I absolutely agree. I was tempted to buy the 4matic LE when I saw it. It's really beautiful, but it didn't have the features I wanted.
