It's for 2nd period in March. I've made all the changes I plan to make (delete pano, change color, delete wood wheel), so I hope it does get locked down soon.

And I hope Mercedes doesn't drop any of these options that are in the system for this car.

So is there anything interesting about the PO number? Other than the 07 which is the MY, is there anything else meaningful in the number?

EDIT: I didn't know there were differences in the Distronic PLus for EU versus US. What are the differences?

USA car wont accelerate on its own if it comes to a complete stop on the road... EU car will afaik.

PO number, nothing significant. VIN number will be assigned in B4 status which is when you know the car has left the paint shop and began assembly.

I was looking last week but did not test. The MB information was sort of vague on this but leads you to believe it will re-acccelerate if the stop is not for "more than a few seconds"? Even if 3-4 seconds, it still is a weakness. Maybe it's some kind of US safety law.
