2007 S65AMG, 2007 S550 w/ AMG Pack, 2007 GL450 Premier, 2006 S500, 2007 CLS63AMG
Time Change
Yesterday, when the time changed, I went to go change the time in my S550 and S65 and when I went, they were already fixed. I was sooooo amazed. I only wish that my S500, GL, and CLS63 did the same thing too.

Do you have the integrated phone on the S550 and S65 but not on the others?
I wonder if that is the difference.
I had a bit of trouble changing the time on my SL500.

tee tz, I have an 06' S500 not 600. The reason I have three is because the S500 is my wifes, the S550 is mine, and the CLS, S65, and GL are our weekend cars.

boylston, I dont think the phone is the reason why the time changed by itself. I dont really understand what you mean though. All of my cars have the keypads.

The S500 should have reset itself as long as it could see a GPS satellite. Manual resetting is normally necessary only if you want to set it in the garage or in some other location before the GPS activates and acquires satellites. This is true for the 2006 W220 COMAND. Earlier S-Class and some other class COMANDs need to have the time zone and DST setting manually entered.

If you get to think about his life, it must include nothing for him to have all this time on his hands to make these posts and concoct these tales of dreams.
What I MEAN to say is.... DUDE, you are PATHETIC! Even if you didnt have a mercedes, the forum would totally welcome you to the club. Its ok to be a fan of mercedes and not own the car. But to come and BS your way around a forum for attention is just a bit troubling.......

I had to manually change my time. It would not do it automatically for some reason. NO big deal though..took only 1 minute.

I also changed mine manually. Today, I checked the time zone and when I did, I saw a dot at US Eastern, so I suppose that was already the setting. Regardless, it did not change on its own on an 07 S600.

If the guy has like umpteen amount of Benzes yet knows nothing about time change and that benzes don't automatically do that. You have to go into the "Serv" and adjust the time there for it to adjust in the dash...shoot, at least in my uncle's S550 and our E-class...

None of my cars changed? Are you sure that they change automatically? Do you even own a benz, or do you just guess that they automatically do that and you want to lie cuz your embarrassed because of your real car. Dude get real, if you own a Ford or something were not gonna ignore you, your still welcome on this Mercedes forum. Just dont lie about it.

s350 is daily driver , s550 is because every1 has only s550's , s550 4 matic for winter , s600 business , s63 racing slow cars and s65 racing fast cars , im also purchasing the new bluetech thats goin to come out to save gas and s69 in 2012

IS this the same guy, who, for reasons in wich he cant say his granfather over in Italia was some kind of a billionaire? Because, I think it is, but I think his car collection has changed since the last time I read one of his post.
Now, being a Sicilian, Im affended that he would come to such terms of having any kind of false Family relations to a family in wich no blood is of the same type.
Also, if he really has that much money to burn, to have two, of basically the same car, and to ALSO have THREE cars for the WEEKEND, wich only consist of TWO days. I would hope he would be so kind as to donate some of that disposable income to a non-profit I work for.

Now, being a Sicilian, Im affended that he would come to such terms of having any kind of false Family relations to a family in wich no blood is of the same type.
