Ok guys here is the story. My uncle wants to get a S class Mercedes. I found this place is the best place to ask about S class

He got an offer from auto-gallery about Mercedes S500L 4 Matic with AMG package. The car has all the options.

However the price seemed to be high

Let me tell you the price of S500L 4 matic AMG is 270.000 Euro
The base price of S500L 4-Matic is 192.000 Euro in Mercedes Turkey price list.

He needs a soft car. His ex-cars were 650i BMW and Porsche Cayenne S

So what you guys do u think ?? Is S63 AMG or S600L price can come close to S500L 4 Matic price.

And what do u think about 4 Matic. Does it take some comfort??? Also S63 has much hard suspension than S500L 4 Matic AMG??

Ok guys sorry for misunderstood!!

Let me tell in summary

Question 1

S500L 4 Matic vs S500L , both in AMG package. Is 4Matic good option for a S-class car. And is 4-matic a diasavantage for comfort

Question 2

S500L 4matic AMG package with all options in the list costs about 270.000 Euro in my country.

I also checked the new S600 with most needed options costs slighlty expensive than that S500L 4 Matic-AMG package.

Which will you prefer when compared both.

Question 3

Same situation like Question 2. Is S63 AMG has much harder suspension than S500L 4 MAtic-AMG package??

Conclusion: Does it worth to pay so much on S500L 4-Matic AMG package with all options in the list

or

pay some extra more to get a normal option S600

or S63 AMG if has not so much hard suspensio and lack of comfort

I decided to go all out and get the 600 and I've never regretted it. It's more power than I need most of the time but when I need it, I'm very, very impressed. Also, I got tired of trying to find a 550 with all the options I wanted so I went all the way and just got a 600. I never will need 4 matic so that is not something I can expertly speak of.

All in all though, most people would be happy to load up a 550 and save the money as the power of the 550 is certainly adequate.
