I currently have the 19" staggered AMG wheels on my 2007 S600 and therefore cannot rotate my tires. I have 13000 miles on the car and it looks like I need new rear tires. The fronts still look like could go at least 8-10K more miles. I was thinking of getting new wheels for the rear that match the front wheels so that I can rotate my tires and double their life. I purchased my wheels from TireRack and called them today about getting new wheels for the rear but they told me they no longer stock the AMG wheels any longer So, it looks like I may have to either stick with my setup as is or get new wheels from MB dealer but their prices are usually doubled.
If I stick with my current setup, who has the best prices on new tires? I have Dunlops as OEM. Are Continentals OK because they seem to be cheaper in price.?
Any suggestions?
