On AMG cars, when you scroll across the bottom of the heads up display (just below the speedometer display), you have the option to select "AMG" by scrolling with the left button on the steering wheel. What does that option do???
Other cars just have "navi", "phone", "service", "audio", etc.

Fairly worthless....
IIRC, displays gear selected and ?oil temp/batt voltage.....and can use that silly racetimer feature....
IMO, they should have allowed AMG selection to allow center screen to be a large tach w/easy-to-read dig readouts of gear selected and speed.....
The peripheral tach is utterly useless if driving in Manual mode, and the cartoonishly large central, analog-look speedo is a waste of space....one just needs/wants a quick dig readout of speed anyway....hard to read the analog version quickly when one is in a tightly enforced area.....

Interestingly, was at an office park in SiliconValley today AM where there were six '07-'08 S65s strewn about parking lot (and an '07 CL600 and S600)....all were blk/blk, except one S65 was mystic wh (like one above).....had rained heavily yest/early today so all cars were dirty....IMO, even when dirty, blk S65s appear so much more intimidating/casually elegant in real-life vs designo white.....S65 is a great-looking car....and clearly rather popular in SiliconValley....
