Constant Video In Motion
We have just completed production on our own Video In Motion (VIM) unit for all W216 CL class and W221 S class.
This system does not require any user interface (as compared to the NAV-tv units that require a button to press to activate the VIM feature).
The 110 interface activates the Video capabilities in your Mercedes and keeps it active.
The installed price is $2000 for all NON-MBWorlders....
And for MBWorld registered member it is $1500 installed (shh don't tell any of those other copycat wannabe Mercedes websites...)

You seem to consider it being preferrable that no user action is required. For me this isn't the case, I would then need to uninstall the device every time for the car inspection.
I was expecting "competition" bringing prices down but this looks like 10 times more expensive than existing options. Are these prices US dollars?
