Iphone Problems
I have an 07' S550 with the bluetooth installed at delivery (July 07) which worked great with the Motorola Razr.
I just got the iphone and had no problem pairing it but it won't download the contacts. I have tried to call wireless4mb but have had no luck trying to speak to someone, I just get the answering machine and have left messages.
Anyone else had similar problems?

i have the same problem. it does not load my contacts but it does load call lists.
Also, it does not pair every time I get into the car. Had a razr before and it was problem free as far as pairing

I don't have a S550 I just picked up an 08 G55 and had the bluetooth module installed. It took the salesman 25 mins of attempting to get it to sync with my iPhone. In the end we had to get the parts girl to configure it. Took her less then 45 seconds.. It works great for me, all my contacts are available along with the last dialed #'s. I assume there's only one type of module, so maybe have then swap it for a new one as a test.
Good luck

I have an iPhone and it works perfectly with my s550.
Maybe it is the bluetooth puk which you have...why don't you post the model number or serial of the puk on here and compare it to us guys who have it working.

Your BT device is likely a BT SAP one as you seem to come from the UK and you have the SLR design device. iPohone does not support BT SAP, you would need the black BT HF profile device.

Thanks everyone for their replies. As it turns out, the phone did correctly pair with the bluetooth but my module which was purchased July 06, which at the time did not support iPhone as it wasn't out at the time.
The fix is to download the latest software and update the module at the dealership which I will be doing next week.

Hi Guys,
I purchased a bluetooth puck (was new, now 2 months old) and it works perfectly with my iPhone. Address book, call lists and 100% pairing. I understand that some bluetooth puks may contain older or different software revisions. This is likely the issue. Also - less likely - but worthy of mention - if the iPhone was hacked to work on a different cell network, some features won't operate as intended (again, I don't believe this applies to bluetooth).
