S550 with rear seat package - do you lose the deep center console storage compartment

Does the rear seat heating/cooling equipment with the rear seat package on the S550 eliminate the deep center front console storage well?

yes, it's such a pain in the booty...
but the car has ample storage space in the doors and glove ... you should definitely check it out at the dealer's if you can.

You lose (it). In the S 600 which has the heating controls behind the seats, there is a shallow box (that opens from either the driver's side or passenger's.
I imagine that the wiring has to pass through beneath it so you lose the deep box.
Well worth it to have those rear controls though...
