2007 S 350 different for 2008 S350
hello everyone
Parents ordered an S-350 in Sept2007, the car will be ready for delivery in March. March 2008.
The question is what is new in 2008 S 350 from 2007 S350. I am thinking the sheet metal remained exactly the same. However were there any different standard options.?
where can I find more details. I have contacted most dealers in India without any answers, and need to confirm ina day or two.
This is in India. And the cars come from Germany and so maybe some of the european/german guys can also help me sort this out.
Any comments whatsoever, please help me.

A March 2008 car would be the same as a late 2007 car (basically from after the summer). The factory MY change occurred then (note that this is different from the US model year logic).
The main changes from an early 2007 car are (from jesmb.de, can you figure out from this or do you need translation help?):
Ab MJ 08 wird im Handschuhfach eine AUX-IN Schnittstelle serienmäßig sein.
Es wird neue 7- bzw. 9-Doppelspeichen Räder geben.
Die Polsterung der 12-Zylinder-Motorisierungen erhalten neue Bezeichnungen (analog zum CL)
Neue Metalliclacke: Sanidinbeige und Chromitscharz ersetzen Travertinbeige und Smaradgschwarz
Die radargestützte Parkführung (Code 230) ist dann serienmäßig in Code 233 (Distronic Plus) enthalten.
Ab 3. Quartal 2007 wird ein Totwinkel-Assistent (Code 234) zur Verfügung stehen. Er wird ebenfalls serienmäßig bei Distronic Plus sein.
Die automatische Kindersitzerkennung AKSE (Code U18) wird bei allen Typen der Baureihen 221 und 216 (S- und CL-Klasse) als Sonderausstattung angeboten.
Für den CL gibt es optinal ein neues AMG Exterieur Carbon Paket (Code 773) (allerdings nur für CL 63 AMG & CL 65 AMG)

On my CL 63 MY 08 I found new:
No more switch button for front cleaning xenon lights, you have to push 5 times wiper button for it.(Same as new C class)
Map lights in the mirror now are led instead bulbs
Iproved Comand functions such as direct number on CD track via phone keyboard, 3d navigation map...
