Help With Command Center Update 2007 S550
I purchased my S550 9/07 it was a dealer demo car with 1000 miles.
After reading these fourms I brought it to the dealer for the command center update so I could watch DVDs and have the live traffic updates. I also brought them the TSB number for the telematics update.
So I got the car back today and the birds eye view works and the DVD playback works. However the traffic updates do not work I have a option on my screen for traffic updates but their is no information.
They did't charge me anything but I dont think that they updated the nav software is this the reason the traffic updates dont work. is the traffic part of the nav software or the flash update they did to the car? in my option menu I have a trafiic option but when it is selected it says that their is no traffic information.
How do I check what software version I have?

Jason: When you push on Traffic, do you see on the left of the Nav screen some visual representations of actual road signs (e.g. 280, 101, US1, etc) where they are listing possible traffic problems? That is what I am showing on my updated Telematics MY07 CL600. Z356

Then, I purchased the latest Nav DVD software BQ 646 0231 Version 5.
It only took 26 minutes to upload, and ... voila! My system now gives all the features we all want: Great resolution graphics, improved bird's eye view, DVD, and Real Time Traffic Reports! etc.
By the way, I'm selling the software $120.00 paypal only including overnight shipping in continental US.

We had the exact same situation. My dealer did not charge me for reflashing the Comand system, and even gave me the software. However, it only added DVD playback and Bird's eye view on the system, but NOT the Traffic updates.
Then, I purchased the latest Nav DVD software BQ 646 0231 Version 5.
It only took 26 minutes to upload, and ... voila! My system now gives all the features we all want: Great resolution graphics, improved bird's eye view, DVD, and Real Time Traffic Reports! etc.
By the way, I'm selling the software $120.00 paypal only including overnight shipping in continental US.
