how to change the time?

I have scrolled through everything and there doesn't seem to be any settings for changing the time in the central clock.
There is no listing in the manual. Anyone know how to do this?
It used to be with the older S Classes that you scroll through navi settings.
Two different service advisors at two dealerships didn't know!

Hey thanks! When going to the "vehicle" tab, I am so impressed by the colored pictures of the car settings, that I totally missed the system settings tab on the bottom left corner.

But why do you have to change the time. I assume this is because of the change to summer time but the car should do it automatically. Or is the car from the time before the US (parts of it?) changed the period for summer time? I don't even remember was that before W211 existed.

At least if you get the Comand/navi updated, it should know the current US summer time settings and would change automatically.

I was looking at this last night and the S class does not have time zones to choose from ....only countries. (at least mine works this way). In the US, we have 4 main time zones, but these are not an option to choose from on our settings display. I guess if the clock is linked to a satellite signal then the minute hand is the only one that is linked.
However, on my wife's C class, she does have the time zones to choose from and also has the option to choose "daylight savings time" versus " stnd time".

Makes no difference to me. I can click on the hour adjustment just as easy as I can click on a time zone selection. It's just funny how the options differ from one model to another.

The thing I can't understand is why do we have to set the date? And why does it offer the 3 options of how to enter the date: MM/DD/YY, YY/MM/DD, DD/MM/YY. I have never seen any use of this data.

My car does change time automatically (from/to summer time) and we have several time zones in Europe . Honestly I don't remember if I've set any country info, definitely not "daylight savings time" as the car is supposed to take care of it, and it does. GPS itself does not tell if summer time applies or not, the car must be aware of these for each region. Isn't your car also changing time when you pass a state border to a different time zone?

Not a big deal to change time twice a year but it really should be automatic. From the W211 section I remember they suffered the wrong setting after the US changed the summer time period but I understood it was fixed with a SW update.

An example for the date is service book-keeping. The car needs to know the year to know if it has been 2 years of 5 years etc. from one specific service that is done this infrequently. Me too never understood why there are three options, in Europe we always use DD/MM/YYYY.
