Bluetooth Issue

I have a new s550 and a blackberry curve. the address synchs but i an unable to make / receive a call. Any thoughts on the resolution? Thx!

Do you have any signal? The IR glasses attenuate the cell phone signal a lot, if you use the phone at poor coverage, it may not work. But this should be the same irrespectively if you have BT HF active or not, can you place calls from the phone in the car when the BT connection is off?

Or do you mean it does not even attempt to dial if you select a phone number from the Comand or the cluster menu?

Do you have the BT cradle which clips into the center armrest? Without this, you cannot send nd receive calls via the head unit. The head unit does already have a form of BT, but this is only for managing contacts and not phone usage. You need the cradle for the phone to work.

That is a good point, a bit like "why does the car not run, because of an empty gas tank" but in practise it is easier to get confused with the phone system.

Oh no, where do i get the BT cradle? that is really embarassing :-(
