Adjustable lowering Module

Question, a friend has a nice cls that he can raise and lower with the module he added. He can put the car real low to the point of not being able to drive the car then he can raise it up.

He said a shop installed a module to do this. I was wondering if anyone knows what this is and if the s550 can also be adjusted in this fashion??

Yes, do a search for ELM (electronic lowering module).

Im not talking about the kind that just lowers the car. I want to find one that lowers and raises the car on the fly. My friends cls does this. He can drop the car on the wheels when he parks and raise it when he wants to drive. This was with a stock suspension, no aftermarket airbags or system. He said a shop installed a module but didnt know much else.

Has anyone heard of this?

The only kit I can think of is like Lorinser, kleeman, renntech (renntech being the most popular) I know you can lower and raise not sure if you can do it on the fly though. Hope that helps. Good luck

You can go with the Kleemann lowering module... That has been very popular with our customers.

Here is one we did on 22" Maya Wheels and the Kleemann lowering module set almost all the way down.

I think what you are describing is the use of the airmatic or ABC. This allows you to raise and lower your S550 as you approach steep driveways or dips.

What the Lowering module allows you to do, is to lower the starting point for the raising and lower via airmatic/ABC.

Hands down, the most popular and most affordable ELM is the RENNtech one. This unit is also available with an option remote which works like an ipod. Please feel free to give me a call or email if you would like a better explanation.
