More new V12 speculation...
Interesting mention of a new MB designed V12 in Car magazine here... (Possibly to be shared with BMW)

"That's why M-B has thrown M295 into the ring, its brand-new direct-injection stratified-charge twin-turbo all-aluminium V12. But so far, to no avail."
Sounds cool! The application of the M295 moniker certainly implies this is a real design with bench models running at least. ....though I am going to go out on a limb that it will not make an appearance before the next S/CL/SL-Class model cycle. (W222 for the S?)
WSH will be happy...

MBWorld Fanatic!
Thx for the update, cjf
Indeed, great news (just hope we don't need to suffer crappy BMW engineering, w/their vast V12 experience)....suspect enough V12 "elitists" in US are able to actually buy a new $150K+, well-engineered perf car to demand a new-tech, lightweight V12

With the speculation that the next gen AMG V8 63's to be twin turbo @ aprox
550+hp then the logical step up for next gen "base" V-12 would need 550-600hp?? Sounds good to me. IMO MB v12's have always been vastly superior to BMW. Maybe instead of share tech maybe bmw should just hand the money to Mercedes engineering staff
