I want to know the difrent between ths s500(w221) & s550
i know the s550 for usa and the s500 for the other world

Not positive about this but I heard there is no difference. I once read that the 550 is just a North American nomenclature for the same car as the 500 elsewhere.
I'm sure there are differences in equipment but the engine may be the same. Seems they both are 5.5L engines.
