Telephone/bluetooth issue?

Driving to work this morning and got a call from home. Answered the phone and I could hear my wife fine, but she could not hear me at all. Called back 4 times with the same result. Turned the bluetooth off and on on the phone and still the same issue. The voice command works fine, so the microphone is working. Also made calls from the phone without bluetooth on and everything was normal, so the phone works OK.

Any ideas? Did I turn off something? Appreciate any thoughts.

Did you accidentally mute the microphone? I'm not sure if it remains muted from one call to the next though.

Thanks for the reply. No - I checked to make sure the microphone was not muted.

Next guess would be the BT adapter connector. Perhaps a bad contact on the microphone signal pin? Should you try removing the adapter, cleaning contacts and retrying?

Weird, but it resolved itself.

Driving home from work, the phone was not "connected" automatically as it usually is. After turning the bluetooth off and on on the phone, it finally connected. After that every thing seems to function as normal.

Not quite sure what the problem was since the phone connected fine this morning and I could hear the caller but I could not be heard.

Anyway, thanks for the help and I hope the problem does not reoccur.

Just kidding, but it could have been a mechanical connector issue instead of a control box being confused. Hopefully it does not come back anyway.

LOL. You're right, hopefully this is just a fluke and it's over. With all of the computers and electronics on these cars, it would be tough in some cases to figure these type of problems out.
