Water getting trapped in headlight
I've noticed this ever since I bought my car two years ago , but when I drive through a touchless car wash, my front left headlight housing (not the right one) holds a slight amount of moisture for a short period of time. The reason I brought this up is because last week when I took my wife's C class in for routine service, I noticed another W221 with the exact same problem. Left headlight holding moisture. Has anyone else noticed this?

Best to ask Konigstiger about this or check the recall/tsb thread. Hope you get it resolved.

I will probably get it handled eventually (before warranty expires). It only does it when forced spray hits it like in the car wash. The only thing that concerns me is wiring could corrode from this or the bulb might go bad quicker.

Sounds odd if the seals have dried up, the car isn't old at all. Also I understood water was getting in only when pressure washed. Cannot think of a good reason though, other than some sort of a seal leak if it doesn't come from an open rear flap.

That car ended up being so problematic we dumped it for the ML350. The MB hasn't seen the shop since new (except oil change)
