S550 Body Kit Ideas
I'm planing on purchasing a s550 pretty soon. I want to paint it pearl white instead of the white MB offers. I think the AMG package is nice, but I was wondering which, if any body kits are nice on the s550. Thanks

Just try to buy one with the AMG pkg already and save yourself alot of $$$$. I've always thought that body kits ran in the neighborhood of 3-6k complete with maybe another 1-2k for paint/install...was I wrong when I looked into Wald, Lorinser, Brabus, and Carlsson. Why would anyone spend more than 10k alone just on the parts excluding paint/install on a body kit? Keep in mind that these kits all require you to purchase their exhaust system or else it doesnt fit through the rear skirt/valence...sorry for the rant guys.

Not to mention the cost of AMG wheels at around $5k to go with body pkg.
I looked into this when shopping for my 600. Around 12-15k total!!!
Luckily I found one with AMG body. Def try not to waste your money on aftermarket pkg.

I agree. Your best bet would be to go with factory AMG kit; I bought mine without the AMG kit thinking I'd upgrade to Brabus/WALD but after looking at the prices... holy smokes!!! I am easily looking at 12-16k of investment. I decided to hold off on it after getting prices both from dealership and fitment shops. Wish I had just gone with AMG kit.

Do they price these body kits according to body style? I'm sure a complete Brabus,Wald, or Carlsson kit for a C class or even E class does not run over 10k...Are they priced according to the cars MSRP?

Body styles do price according to Classes. The larger sedans body kits do cost more than your C CLass. I got mine with and AMG kit then wanted to get a Brabus kit, until I saw the price even with a 30% discount. You do need to buy thier exhaust and not only that, kits don't go on if you have a AMG kit. They only work with the original body style. I did however purchase the 21' rims from brabus. They look a little more aggressive than the AMG's. Now if you don't like the AMG kit, most dealers have the cars with the Carlsson or Brabus kit already installed. You just need to look around.

ok this is what i think...if he has that kind of money to spend on his car then i say go head my fave body styling is the brabus and the S550 looks HOT when its fixed up especially the exhausts just the sound of it kills me lol...i wana get just exhausts on my S550 but i don't have any idea on where to get them and all that other stuff so i drive mine stock and its already AMG package...all i wana do is put tints on it and i don't know if i should get limo tints or one less then limos...
But im all with spending as much as money u want on your car unless you don't have the money thats a different story...

MB does offered pearl white. "Key to the cure" model in pearl white with 20" AMG wheels. I got mine last month.

I saw at the SEMA show last year a good combination between the AMG package and the Lorinser fenders and side skirts. It is not to pricy but it will change the look significant. If I find a picture I will post it
