I think it's ugly. The front end of the CL is visually lower and wider than the S (don't know if it physically is) and so it doesn't match with the proportions with the rest of the body well. Starting from the front then scanning to the middle it looks like the W140 in the way that the cabin looks really tall too large for the rest of the body.

 

Certainly looks odd... what is the point? It is a freak.. calling it a CS is preposterous... The standard w221 design is classically elegant as it is... hood star and all..

Still if it puts smoke in your tail pipe...

I personally think it's interesting, but the front of the car looks a little too big for the rest of it.

 

I'd buy it.

 

Not for me but maybe a differant color would change my mind.

 

 

I like it but that color is awful. Silver or white or even black would have been a better color for presentation.

 

What an expensive mutt, POS. I'm amazed at all the tasteless Benz owners in the world. Why on early would anyone want to do this?

The color is the only thing I like, and very much so in fact.

 

Very well put... the number of tasteless Benz owners out there is truly disheartening... A keen sense of restrained design is one of MB's most distinctive qualities... the very heritage of the brand... An abortion like this is simply not a real Benz.

The color def. is not helping..and I'm not a huge fan on the cl550..it looks to plain..now if they blended the CLS front that might get interesting
