Good to know I'm not the only car nut in the region- getting the wives and our brood together sounds like an awesome plan. PM forthcoming....

Off to NJ motorsports park next weekend to track the R8. Let's see what's left of it after that!
torquemeister it is.

Car nuts?
Absolutely. Dying breed around this neck of a woods, that's for sure. Pepole around here don't know, (I'm not joking) that MB is making V12. If I tell them it's twin turbo few of them asked me to open the hood (e.g. - UPS guy).
I'm even thinking to buy that "biturbo" sign and stick it next to "V12" sign, like the older 215 has.

R8? - looks to die for, congrats. Let the board know, how the event went.

BTW, I'm sending you an email.
Anybody in the area, NJ included who wants to meet over 4th. of July weekend, send me a PM.

Heck, I did that only 2 or 3 months after I bought mine, except mine is the one that is on the current S65s. However, my stock V12 emblem is different than on the S65. The S65 "V" is a completely separate full size letter whereas on my car, the V and the 1 overlap upon each other. I like the S600's V12 emblem the best along with the BITURBO lettering. Car nuts like us would know the difference

I'll look for your pics and see how it looks. Or maybe you can help me find it?
I think, I'll order it tomorrow.
Is it poser looking? I don't think so. . Anyway I shouldn't care.

No. It does not look posing. I did consider that but our car's do have Biturbos, so I felt good about it.

My pix are in the pix thread. Took them about a year ago. I did take the Renntech emblems off on the side underneath the V12Biturbo logo (just too much info and clutter IMO)
