How to lift up the wipers during a wash?
Hi,
Sorry if this is the wrong section and if this question is stupid, but how the **** do I lift up the wipers of the new Mercedes S-Class vehicles? They seem to hide under the hood and even if I try to lift them, it's like they don't want to bend that way like normal wiper arms.
I'm asking because I want to lift the wipers for washing the vehicle so I can clean the entire windshield.

The same way as when replacing the blades. Turn ignition on, turn wipers on and switch ignition off when the wipers are at the left, pointing up. Raise wipers off the glass.
Be sure to put them back before turning ignition on.

The VW Phaeton/Bentley FS had a "maintenance" feature on the menu screen whereby you could press a button and the wiper would sweep to that position just for that situation. I'm surprised MB didn't include that.
