Need advice...
Guys,
I need some help. Been looking at doing the 2010 Facelift on my 08 S550. I've been talking to the guys at www.autoaddiction.com; I was thinking of getting the sports body kit installed including the following:
Exhaust (Not just the tips)
Front Bumper
Rear Bumper
Rear Diffuser
Headlights
Tail Lights
Side Skirt
Guys at the autoaddiction.com are pretty confident that this will work. Is it worth the risk to be the first one to take the plunge and get the facelift done? has anyone done it yet? Or would it just make sense just to trade the car in for the 2010 instead? Thoughts? concerns? comments?

I have thought about it. It looks like the OEM parts alone would cost more than 10k;My other alternate is to just get the headlights and taillights only. I do, however, like the LED's on the bumper...

MBWorld Fanatic!
Indeed, aftermkt stuff on cars is about as lame as aftermkt stuff on chicks....almost always bucks wasted on elder and/or "challenged" versions of either
Get a new, '10 S600/63 030/65....life's too short, esp after one drives one of these cars and experiences their engineering excellence/innovation, to ever spend bucks on some ancient, obsolete car

It's a loss at trade in time. You won't regain a dime of that in trade in value. Plus, I find it almost cheezy to make one year model look like another. It loses its character and always leaves the trained eye shaking his head.
IOW, get a new one.

Thanks all for candid advice and helping me see the light! I will just trade the car in probably for a 2011 next year considering I only have 4k miles on my current one.
