My father got a brand new S350. In order to protect the paint, I wanted to get some paint sealant on it. We took the car to a detailing shop and while over there, they saw and point out to us that they were small white spots on the car. My father and I were pretty shocked to see this (we didn't notice it before) as the car is brand new and we only had it for a few weeks. The guy recommended that we get it polished and then apply paint sealant. That's what we are doing to the car and will get it back tomorrow.

My question is, how come the white spots are there? Did it happen during transit from Germany to Dubai?
