new S class purchase
hey guys i was wondering if you can give me some advice on a new purchase/lease
Our 1998 S500 has pretty much done its job, 200000 miles, and its time to move up and on,
we tend to keep our cars in our family so i was wondering do u guys recommend purchase or lease
either way seems real expensive
we have gotten most of our cars from fletcher jones in NB but i have no problem going to another dealer if you recommend.
also, MY 2009 or 10
is there much difference, what would u recommend

On the exterior the MY10 totally kills any previous model with the new LED look in the front and the rear taillights (looks like a maybach). I dont think the interior they changed a lot of stuff (never owned an S class before). Yet i do know the navigation system is more refined compared to a friends 2008 S-class. Apart from that idk how much different they can be when comparing the interior or other technical stuff between the 2.

Since you are going to keep your S 550 for a while, here is the one piece of advice I wish I had considered when I go my car... Get one with all the options you want, a 2009 with ABC , Distronic, Drive Dynamic seats is a better deal than a bare bones 2010 with the new LED lights and nothing else. I have yet to see a 2010 at my nearby dealerships (Northern California) with active body control, and the sales person suggested that the factory is not building them unless special ordered...
The 2010 Navigation system is a huge improvement over the 2009, The screen is brighter and clearer, The iPod interface is faster and more intuitive (it now appears on both the command as well as the speedo screen).
