Mirror tilt while in reverse?

Hi, recently I've noticed that when I put my car in reverse the passenger side mirror does not tilt automatically like it used. I have tried resetting the comand system (via the menu) and have checked the options via the steering wheel but can't see it listed anywhere. Is there any way to reset the system? I think it may be related to the memory seats function which stopped working for a couple of months but are now working fine. I'll mention it to the dealer when it's in for its service in a 1000 miles but I find it a lot easier to parallel park with the auto tilt mirror so would like to fix it now if I can.

thanks,

The switch that controls the selection of driver side vs passenger side mirror (for the mirror adjustment) has to be set to so as to select the driver side mirror.

this stopped functioning on mine once as well, selecting right (passenger) mirror on the driver door didn't make a difference. here is the procedure that worked for me:

1. turn off the mirror tilt feature in the command menu.
2. turn off the car
3. turn on the car
4. enable the feature again.
5. turn off the car
6. turn on the car
7. place in reverse - mirror went down again.
