2010 S63 or wait..............

Hello all,
I currently own a 08 s550 and Im ready for an upgrade.
I know this time around its a S63 or a lightly used s65.
Im concerned about buying one now, and finding out a 2011 ( probably available Sep. ) will have some major upgrades.
Any suggestions or knowledge out there on 2011?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

ps. Im not saying this to flame any BMW owners.
I have test drove a 7 today. WOW... what happened ?
I felt like they went backwards. Also, I could not get over a lexus like back.

this car is absolutely amazing!

i'm not sure about any changes for 2011. i think if there was going to be any changes they would have done it when the current face lift.

it's up to you though, i have had my 63 for 2 weeks now and i just love it.

2010 CL65
Latest rumors (quotes from hd of MB R&D) are 63 motor is obsoleted in CY10 as new 5.5 TT will replace it

S/CL63 are great cars but have girlie tq (at least for those accustomed to 600/65 tq of 612 or 738lb-ft)...63 offers perhaps great tq for those who drive even more undertq'd $200K+ Fiats and VW's

Not clear if '11 S/CL will even have a V8 AMG version...or will only be 65s

Would be cautious re: reliability of any new DFI motor, given problems vs crappy US fuel...and not clear what new AMG gearbox will be able to reliably handle elevated tq

Suspect a new, '10 S65 (or '11 S65 Coupe) will be most reliable...and most addictively enjoyable AMG for next 2-3 yrs (even vs the much publicized SLS man-purse)

It seems there are enough rumors out there about 2011.
I think I will just wait few more months to see what happens.
For me it will have to be a s63 or s65.
I only keep my cars an average of 2 years.
s600 is probably out of the question because of lead balloon resale value.

My plan is to purchase something in 2010 and be ready for a change once a w222 body comes out.
if I get a 2010, then I would look for something with 3-5k miles on it. If 2011... I would bite the bullet and get a new one.
