A couple of things could be the culprit. When was the last time you had the ABC system serviced? The hydraulic fluid might be low...or the pump could be going out. Have a tech take a look at it.

That's sad news.
Is it the 2nd generation ABC?
Although we don't hear often about their malfunction, it's still very sophisticated and breakable system.
Let us later know what's the cause.

Had this also

I store my brothers 08 cl550 in my garage in riverhead long island for the winter, and I went out there last weekend and drove the car. This malfunction came up and after driving for about 20 minutes restarted the car and the message disappeared. It was both on the speedometer and in the messages and after restarting it was gone from both places. I called my service advisor and he said it could have been from inactivity combined with the extreme cold we had that registered as low oil or pump pressure, but suggested getting it checked. Does your message "stay" in the memory or clear after restarting?
Good luck
